Another American author combined with music for this week’s Happy Hour  – this time, it’s Jack Kerouac :

Jack Kerouac was an American novelist and poet. He is considered a literary iconoclast and, alongside William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, a pioneer of the Beat Generation. Kerouac is recognized for his method of spontaneous prose (source : Wikipedia)

Well, to illustrate the vibe of JK’s style, I found a recording of him reading his own poetry, and I’ve mixed it in with music which either comes from the references he makes or is of the era – from jazz to be-bop to blues and stuff in between…
