Happy Hour – no°s 105/106 Boston Marathon

18th & 25th April 2011

Scott takes charge and leaps forth to interview past and present champions in the 115th Boston marathon over the next two Happy Hour shows.
Amongst them, he’ll be chatting to Rob de Castella, 1986 Aussie marathon winner, and his protégé Charlie Maher from Alice Springs, running as part of The Marathon Project, an initiative to help young Indigenous Australians run in big sporting events.
Then there’s the wheelchair champ Ernst Van Dyk and much more!
And he’s going to score us some live coverage from the middle of the finish line euphoria…exciting stuff!
Plus there’ll be music coming from the survey that rated the best running songs of all time…find out the winner here on Idfm98.

For anyone wanting to know Charlie’s results from this week’s marathon, he ran a 3:22:13 – not bad at all. Well done Charlie!
