Feature piece by Scott tonight – he caught up with Jerald Walker, at the Boston Book Festival (www.bostonbookfest.org) to discuss his newly released autobiography*. From the Chicago Housing projects, a youth spent with drugs and crime, to finding his way to an education, and stable employment. A graduate of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, with numerous articles published, today, Jerald is an associate professor of creative writing at Emerson College.
